On the tools
Beyond servicing — ECU diagnostics, suspension and exhaust work for drivers who want more from their car.
ECU & emissions
Dealer-grade tools to read, tune and clear the systems that trip a check-engine light or fail an emissions check — from AdBlue/SCR faults to a blocked DPF.
Suspension
Kits fitted and aligned in-house, not sent out — from heavy-duty 3"–6" lift kits for trucks and 4x4s to coilover lowering kits for a lower, sharper stance.
Exhaust
Mandrel-bent stainless systems built to fit your car and your ears — quieter daily-driver setups through to full performance cat-back systems.
How it works
Thirty seconds on your phone — plate number, the service you're after, your name and number. No account, no forms about your car.
Dealer-grade scan tools and a mechanic's eye. We find what's actually wrong — and what isn't — before anything gets touched.
A plain-English quote before the work starts. No surprise line items, no jobs you didn't sign off. Genuine or OEM-equivalent parts.
Every job logged in your digital service record, warranty on the workmanship, and a reminder when the next service is due.
Why choose us
Tui Torque Motors (trading as Car Master Automotive) is a family-run car servicing workshop in Wiri, Auckland, established in 2020 — servicing all makes and models, petrol, diesel and hybrid, with a particular specialty in European marques including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and Jaguar.
Every job includes a digital service record and a plain-English quote before any work begins. Since 2020 we've been the local, family-run alternative to the big chains — honest advice, fair pricing, and mechanics who explain the job before it starts. Our mechanics are trained to a NZQA Level 7 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
New ownership
This workshop has looked after Wiri drivers since 2020 — and it still does. What's changed is who's behind it: new ownership, the same mechanics you already trust, and a sharper focus on how you're treated from the moment you call. We didn't inherit your trust. We're earning it, one job at a time.
It's not just our name — it's how we work.
You're handing over your car and your money on faith. We treat that like it's earned every visit, not assumed.
One mechanic owns your job start to finish — no passing you between three different guys, no "that's not my job."
Same standard on a rushed Tuesday as a quiet Saturday. Every car, every time.
Work that's still right six months later, not just on the day you drive out.
Your time matters. We don't sit on your car, and we don't leave you on hold.
The minimum gets your WOF signed off. We aim past the minimum, every job.

Tui Torque Motors (trading as Car Master Automotive) is a 4.8-star rated, family-run auto repair shop in Wiri, Auckland, backed by over 50 verified Google reviews. We handle WOF inspections, servicing, brakes, diagnostics, wheel alignment, suspension and exhaust work all under one roof.
Beyond WOF inspections and car servicing, we handle brake and safety repairs, wheel alignment, diagnostic scanning, ECU tuning and emissions faults, suspension lift/lowering kits, custom exhaust work, and fleet maintenance for Auckland businesses.
Most WOF inspections and basic servicing can be completed same-day when booked in advance — call or text 09 869 7579 to check same-day availability. More involved repairs like engine diagnostics or suspension work may need a short lead time depending on parts.
A Basic Service ($160 +GST) covers an oil and filter change, fluid top-ups, and a multi-point safety check. A Standard Service ($230 +GST) adds a brake and tyre inspection and a battery health test — recommended every 10,000–15,000km or annually for most vehicles.
A Basic Car Service starts at $160 +GST and a Standard Service at $230 +GST. WOF pricing depends on the vehicle — call or text 09 869 7579 for a quote. Booking both together often works out cheaper than two separate visits.
Most Basic or Standard services combined with a WOF are completed within 1–2 hours when booked in advance, and often same-day. Larger repairs found during the check may extend this — we'll always call before doing extra work.
Yes for most vehicles — a Standard Service adds a brake and tyre inspection and battery health test on top of the Basic oil change and safety check, catching issues early before they become expensive repairs. We recommend it every 10,000–15,000km or annually.
Tyre pressure and engine oil changes are the two most commonly neglected items. Under-inflated tyres wear unevenly and increase fuel use, while overdue oil changes accelerate engine wear — both are quick, low-cost checks we include in every service.
It's not recommended for most vehicles. Manufacturers typically specify an oil change every 10,000–15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first — going 2 years risks sludge build-up and engine wear, even with lower mileage.
Dark, gritty oil (rather than amber and clear), a burning smell, louder engine noise, an oil warning light, or reduced performance are the main signs. If you're not sure, we check oil condition as part of every service.
If your current WOF hasn't expired yet, you can usually keep driving until it does, provided the vehicle isn't dangerously defective. If your WOF has already expired, you're generally restricted to driving directly to and from a repairer. We'll always explain exactly where your vehicle stands after a failed check.
Yes — this is one of our most common bookings. Getting both done in one visit saves you a second trip and often picks up issues before they'd cause a WOF fail.
Yes — a spare tyre isn't a required check item under NZ's WOF rules. The tyres actually fitted to the car do need to meet the legal tread depth and condition standards though.
